The impressive Kaan Luum lagoon with a deep, turquoise cenote in the center is about 10 km southwest of Tulum on the main road 307 Cancun – Chetumal towards Felipe Carrillo Puerto. The water is only 1.50 meters deep and colored by a velvety soft vegetation grass green. The deep blue cenote in the center of the lagoon is 85 meters deep and only accessible to divers. The diameter of the Laguna is about 700 meters. The entrance to Kaan Luum costs $ 50 peso and it is worth starting at 9:00 when the long boardwalk is not yet full of tourists. There are toilets and a small restaurant, which is currently closed.
