El agua tiene solo 1,50 metros de profundidad y est\u00e1 coloreada por una vegetaci\u00f3n suave y aterciopelada verde hierba. El cenote azul profundo en el centro de la laguna tiene 85 metros de profundidad y solo es accesible para buceadores. El di\u00e1metro de la laguna es de aproximadamente 700 metros. La entrada a Kaan Luum cuesta $ 50 pesos y vale la pena comenzar a las 9:00 cuando el largo paseo mar\u00edtimo a\u00fan no est\u00e1 lleno de turistas.
